Founded in 2018 by Camila Yunes Guarita, Kura Arte is an art advisory service. Our goal is to demystify the art world, promoting dialogue between different market agents – collectors, artists, galleries and institutions. In the midst of a vast and diverse artistic production, Kura meets the demands of an effervescent cultural scene, providing guidance to collectors, cataloging private collections, helping young emerging artists to navigate the market and carrying out special curatorial projects.
Art advisor and founder at Kura, Camila holds a Bachelor ‘s degree in Architecture from Mackenzie University (Brazil) and École Nationale d’Architecture Paris Val de Seine (France). She specialized in Arts at Sotheby’s London (UK), where she attended the courses: “Contemporary Art and Its Market”, “How the Art World Works” and “Foundations in Art History”. She began her career in Sales & Liaisons at Galleria Continua and Galeria Nara Roesler. She also has a background in production, through her work experience at Galerie Aveline. She was the co-founder of GoART Art Advising (2015-2018). She is currently executive director at Kura and VIP Representative for ARCO Madrid and Lisbon.

Coleção Ivani e Jorge Yunes contains artworks and objects from different time periods and locations, from classical antiquity to the mid-twentieth century; from Brazil to dozens of other countries. However, besides the manner in which these works are displayed, there is nothing from the present day.
While pondering the reasons for this lack of contemporary art, KURA’ s founder, Camila Yunes Guarita, created the project Caixa de Pandora.
Its name comes from the popularly known Greek myth about the first woman created by the Greek gods, imprudent and curious, Pandora opened the box containing all of the world’s evils, letting them escape. A lesser known fact is that what remained in the box was hope. In a work of art there is something hopeful, it conveys the desire to venture out into new paths of expression and of the self.
By bringing contemporary art into this collection, Caixa de Pandora fosters curiosity while allowing different periods of art history to coexist with the disturbing present we live in today. And it does so precisely by placing its wager on art as a bearer of hope.
Each edition of the project features a different artist presenting artworks produced after an immersion in the private collection.
